Busy Spring!!

This winter has flown by!  Spring is in the air which means Ella is turning 1!!!  Since we have been so busy, we had her party 2 weeks early at Funtastic Play Center.  We hosted 20 kids and had a great time at her Lady Bug themed party.  Over Spring Break we also took a trip to Great Wolf Lodge, went to a couple Easter Egg hunts as well as the Trenton marshmallow drop.  We had a busy but fun week!  Ella's birthday happens to fall on Easter Sunday this year so it will be an extra special day!
Ella has been growing more and more every day and learning new things!  She is babbling like crazy and says a few words such as mamma, dadda and thank you.  She is crawling all over the place, pulling up and loves music and to dance.  She does hate getting her diaper changed and changing her clothes for some reason!  She also has at least 6 teeth as well!

Katelyn is 5!

On January 17th Katelyn turned 5 years old! Time is flying by...pretty soon we will be planning Ella's FIRST birthday. Katelyn decided on a gymnastics party this year where she had 23 kids come to her party along with family and friends. They had a great time playing on all of the equipment and in the bounce house and enjoying cake and cup cakes. Katelyn is lucky to have such great friends and family!

Happy New Year!

The Christmas season flew by! Between parades, breakfast with Santa, a holiday concert and a trip to Florida for Christmas we were quite busy! We were blessed with beautiful baby Ella this year who enjoyed her first Christmas in Florida as well as Michigan. The kids were great on the plane! Katelyn loved swimming every day, going to the beach, the park and playing mini-golf. She also enjoyed her favorite frozen yogurt of course! We are hoping for a happy and healthy 2012, although it is already not starting out so healthy! We are also getting ready to celebrate Katelyn's 5th birthday with family and friends in a few weeks! Boy does time fly, before we know it we will be getting ready for Ella's first birthday in April!

Holiday Cheer

Christmas is my favorite time of the year, yet also the busiest with 2 small children. Every weekend is pretty much jammed packed with holiday activities. It is only the beginning on December and we have already seen Santa multiple times, been to a Christmas parade, made a ginger bread house and the house is decorated....and we still have a few weeks left until Christmas! We also spent the night Thanksgiving weekend at a hotel in Perrysburg with friends and family and had a great time! We will be doing it again next year! The kids and adults had a fun time swimming, eating and hanging out.

Kids Halloween Party

Saturday was our annual children's Halloween Party!  Since the guest list grows every year, we opted to have the party outside and in the garage this year.  Aside from a few rain drops and chilly weather the kids had a great time!  Since we were outside, we were able to bob for apples, eat doughnuts off of a string, as well as the usual painting of pumpkins, decorate cookies, foam Halloween crafts and coloring.  Some of the guests also brought some delicious fall treats to eat as well!

More Fall Festivities

October is our busiest month of the year! Every weekend is filled with one or more Halloween activities...Here are a few pictures from some of the things we have done this month!
